Our engineering team works to the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001, producing a co-ordinated information package to enable systems to be supplied and manufactured to meet the design criteria of architects and consulting engineers. |

| CAD production of engineering drawings ensures uniform presentation of information to our clients and engineers. Turnkey software is written in-house to program hardware from several major suppliers, according to the individual requirements of each specification. |

| Motor control centre manufacture |
|
Motor control centres to Form 2, 3 and 4 are manufactured using brand name components. These are assembled and wired within the enclosures to the previously prepared and approved design. Fault rated busbar systems, matched to withstand the calculated pressure at each MCC, are assembled to an ASTA Certified System using high conductivity copper. |
|
Following completion, each MCC is thoroughly tested with each circuit connected to a simulation test rig, to check compatibility with control software programs and temperature control devices. |
|
A 2000-volt flash test and 500-volt insulation test ensure that the MCC complies fully with Electrical Safety Regulations, prior to despatch from the workshop. |

As an associate member of the Electrical Contractors’ Association we provide a complete supervision and installation service, fully complying with the Regulations of the Institute of Electrical Engineers. |

Self-checking processes throughout installation minimise disruption and errors at the commissioning stage. All installations are thoroughly tested and certified by our site supervisor prior to connection with any live service. We request our clients or their representatives to witness all tests. |

Throughout installation our commissioning team will execute the requisite checks of mechanical and electrical plant, carefully liaising with our installation supervisors to ensure work progress complies with the site programme. |
|
| Control loops are commissioned, using calibrated test equipment, to match the plant response. All test results are tabulated in accordance with the current guidance notes of the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers. |

| Project resourcing |

| Design : |
Our Windsor-based design department clarifies contract issue information and produces motor control centre/BMS wiring diagrams, forming the basis of the entire controls installation. |

| Production : |
|
| Motor control centre production, testing and witnessing are carried out at our Windsor office production facility. |

|
| Software/graphics : |
Software design and graphics are produced at our Windsor office from the approved drawings and description of operation. |

|
| Project management : |
|
A designated site-based Project Manager supervises installation, co-ordination and commissioning, attending on-site progress and toolbox meetings with support from the Design Engineer(s) where applicable. |

|
| Commissioning : |
|
Under the management of the Project Manager, a site-based Commissioning Supervisor coordinates and supervises the engineers to suit the commissioning programme. |
|
|
|
| Installation : |
|
Under the management of the Project Manager, a site-based Installation Supervisor manages the installation teams to suit programme and current access status of construction areas. |
